Decisions Before Cameras Are Ordered

Identify the areas to observe, lighting and network constraints, required image detail, retention period, and authorized viewers. The business owns the lawful purpose, signage and privacy decisions, footage access approvals, and retention requirements.

Define who installs equipment, configures the recorder and network, monitors storage health, and handles warranty incidents. Physical installation and regulated trade work use the qualified vendors identified in the scope; coordination does not imply every installation is performed by Monster MSP.

At handoff, test representative views, timestamps, authorized retrieval and export, permission removal, and storage capacity against the agreed retention assumptions. Keep footage credentials and recovery instructions with approved owners.
